This Winkhaus Cobra product is a 4-hook door lock with a split-spindle function. That means it can provide added security against anyone trying to gain entry to your property without a key, by using the lock with a special lever/pad handle pair. If that is not suitable for your current door requirements, the Cobra 4-hook can be used alongside a lever-lever handle. N.B. When you want to use the split spindle functionality, you just need to insert a flat-head screwdriver into a small rectangular-shaped hole you will find beside the spindle hole. This then rolls the pin to the opposite side to activate the lock’s reverse functionality.
