TWH Legge Replacement 5512 Non British Standard 5 Lever 2″ Mortice Sashlock

Description

This 2″ 5 lever mortice sash lock was originally made by Legge but this is a direct replacement for the original. Please note that this lock no longer meets the requirements of BS3621. It is used on internal and external wooden hinged doors where the stile is too narrow to accept a 2.5″ or 3″ lock.

In line with a number of other mortice locks, these locks feature a black lock case but they have unique measurements that identify them from other mortice locks. Please refer to the line drawing for details.

The deadbolt on these locks throws 14mm.

The deadbolt can be locked and unlocked from either side by use of the key. The latch is withdrawn from either side by moving the handle

This lock is supplied with a security striking box in a matching finish to the lock faceplate.

Suitable for use on doors up to 54mm thick. The thickness of the door is determined by the length of the keys. If you require this lock to be fitted to a very thick door, we may be able to supply extra long keys
